htc evo
This weekend I bought myself the HTC Evo through Sprint. My old phone was the Blackberry Storm, through Verizon. The Blackberry Storm was a big piece of junk it had many issues, it would freeze and lock up so I would have to pull the battery out and reset it. On top of all the glitches and errors the phone has I dropped it screen down and cracked it so bad i was unable to text or type. It had gotten so bad it took me 2 hours to type a fifteen word message, so for the last year I have been looking forward to get a new phone. But if I were to renew my contract with Verizon the phone i would have gotten was the Thunderbolt, but it would have cost me $250. So as I looked for a new phone i came across the Evo which is the same as the Thunderbolt just on the sprint network and it was only $150 with a $50 rebate. The Evo has a 8mp camera and a front facing 3mp camera. It runs off the android network and is a 4g phone. Everything about the Evo is nice from the phone calls to the apps. Most of my time on the phone is playing around on the Android market, i have a bunch of games already, like My Country, Paradise Island, and many rpgs like pocket legend. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend the phone to anyone.

The only thing I don’t like about sprint is how they treat the military, when I was deployed they would not put my contract on military suspension, then even though my bill was being paid every month they sent me a cancellation notice with a $300 cancellation fee, and they did it to a few other guys in my platoon as well. The best part was when i got back from deployment I called the main office about the bill and they said they had no record of me ever having a cell phone through them, just a bill. Well when I told them I was going to get JAG involved and try and get sprint Black Listed for the military they quickly had the bill expunged and then had the nerve to ask if I would like to start a new contract through them.
ReplyDeleteNo offense but I must say I agree with Paul. I was in the Marines and the exact same thing happened to quite a few of my fellow Marine Corp members. Not only that But I've had some serious issues with sprints bills as well although it happened outside of my term. I'm glad your happy with the phone, but I've had nothing but trouble with sprint and because I refuse to pay a ridiculous bill from them I can never get a credit card or a loan or anything because its on my credit score.
